Domaine Dupeuble Beaujolais $18.50
A wonderful, juicy, fruity and earthy Gamay from the southern part of Burgundy, France. Smooth cherries and black berries dominate as well as a little mushroom and earth, great for a soft drinking red.
Chateau de Pizay $23.00
From the Beaujolais Cru Morgon comes this really tasty wine with light notes of red cherry, cranberry, and leather with a hint of bubblegum on the nose followed with a refreshing, smooth palate of baked cherries, surprisingly meaty tannins, and raspberries to finish it out. Goes well with leather bound books and a quiet evening.
Blain Soeur & Frere $26.00
Cru Beaujolais! Need I say more?!! This Brouilly shows bright cranberry, cherry and strawberry with subtle floral notes and just a touch of earth. A bit more tannin and structure than a base level Beaujolais with lovely acidity. Goes down easy, so grab a couple!
