Arbosto Rosso $11.00
We love affordable easy drinkers! Medium to full bodied with very soft tannins despite the high tannin Aglianico. Bright acidity and rustic notes with tart red cherries and green olives flavors. Add a little earthy herb and a light amount of spice then a long finish with hints of chocolate, baking spices, and some peppery, toasted oak.
Nicodemi $13.00
The Montepulciano grape is used this beautifully vibrant Cerasuolo rose. The deeply pigmented skins are only in contact with the juice for about 12 hours, yet it creates a robust color. Cherry, strawberry, floral and earthy undertones. Pairs well with seafood, pizza and having your toes in the sand!
Il Faggio $14.00
Clay soils dominate the area of Abruzzo contributing to two things that area is knowm for: artisan ceramics and awesome wine! This Montepulciano shows big juicy red fruits up front with subtle smoky, peppery, and sweet tobacco notes. Big chewy tannins make this a great wine for food
Nicodemi Colline Teramane $16.00
Montepulciano D'Abruzzo has one DOCG, Colline Teramane. The expression of these wines are more complex and intense than that of its DOC counterparts. These have the ability to age in the bottle due to more tannin and acid. Red and black fruits, tobacco, earthy clay create a well rounded glass of wine. If you have had Montepulciano, give this a go!
Fattoria Buccicatino Montepulciano $18.00
Many think of Montepulciano as a poor and dusty peasant wine but they haven’t had this one! High quality fruit on French oak, one of our favorites and all time best sellers. From Abruzzo in Eastern Italy.
