Poquito Moscato $9.50
Lightly sparkling, fruity and sassy, Poquito is small in size but big on taste. Delicate floral aromas combine with a sweet yet refreshing palate of ripe peaches, pears and apricots. Apply liberally at any social occasion. Great right out of the bottle but really amazing with mint and rum as a mojito!
Daisy Pinot Grigio $15.00
Almost Alsatian in style, Daisy is playful and dead serious. Soft citrus, and floral aromas with laser sharp acidity bringing stone fruits, lemon curd, river rock and a clean but lingering finish nuance. Body from the barrel fermentation with indigenous yeasts, further complexity from 5 months in almost neutral French oak.
KuentzBas Alsace Blanc $16.00
From a small 5 acre plot at one of the highest vineyards in Alsace comes this magical blend of lesser knows. There's almost too much happening on the nose with rich floral and mineral tones. Not sweet, not dry, it's got the pedigree of a grand cru in an approachable style and price. It's not like anything else and probably why Julie Andrews was really singing and spinning in these mountain fields.
I know what you're thinking...stop right there! A $47 bottle of Moscato??! Ummmm...YES! Grown in southern Spain in an area more known for their sweet fortified styles, this is an absolute gorgeous wine! Moscato done in a dry style from high altitude vineyards. Floral, pear, and melon notes with a hint of spicy ginger. Aged on the lees to make a beautiful texture! A must try!
