From vineyards dating back to Roman times, comes this rich and full bodied blend from the lower Rhone Valley. Lovely floral and citrus nose, bold flavors of stone fruit, peach, pear and lime zest. These overlooked wines can stand up to about anything.



Bastide de Beauvert Cotes du Rhone Bastide de Beauvert Cotes du Rhone $14.00

More of a robust Southern Rhone wine than you’d expect -- this 70% Grenache 30% Syrah Cotes du Rhone has notes of leather, red fruit, and spice on the nose. The taste is similar to the aroma with a little aftertaste of plum, violets, and nutmeg. A unique wine to try out!



Kermit Lynch Cotes du Rhone Kermit Lynch Cotes du Rhone $15.00

Kermit Lynch helped craft this wine from a co-op in the Southern Rhone. Undergoing natural fermentation, aged in concrete vats, this wine showcases generous black fruits, a gentle spiciness and herbaceous thyme and rosemary. Juicy with chewy tannins, a textbook Cotes du Rhone that can work with spicy food quite handily.

All you would want from a viognier, right here! Luscious oily texture, herbaceous aromas with a subtle cilantro background. Round mouthfeel, tropical fruits on the palate and shining acidity.



Domaine Lafond Tavel Domaine Lafond Tavel $16.00

This richly colored Rose from Tavel opens with a mild wet stone and gentle strawberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied, balanced, and savory. The flavor profile is a mineral infused strawberry and gentle red raspberry blend with a hint of white pepper. The finish is dry and nicely refreshing. I would pair this very nice Rose with grilled salmon this summer.



Domaine de la Cote Domaine de la Cote $16.00

Beautiful and complex Cotes Du Rhone from the village site of Valreas. Black cherry, thyme, subtle medicinal quality (in a good way). Medium body, smooth tannin, an excellent food wine. A great price for a higher tier C.D.R.



Trinquevedel Trinquevedel $17.00

Tavel is the only appellation in the Southern Rhone solely dedicated to rose production. Grenache is playing the lead role in this blend along with clairette, mouvedre, and syrah. Cherry, strawberry, blood orange, lavender and a chalky minerality. A balance of bold and grace perfectly integrated in the glass.



Chateau de Bord Chateau de Bord $19.00

Just to the west of the infamous Chateauneuf-du-pape lies the village of Laudub from where this wine hails. Originally planted during the Roman rule, now owned by the Brotte family, tis wine gives bright raspberry flavors with an earthy, clay profile along with fennel and sage. A gritty texture as if your tasting the land it comes from. Single vineyard, delicious and affordable!



Domaine le couroulu Domaine le couroulu $26.00

Old vine Grenache planted in 1932 blended with old vine Syrah planted in 1960 make for a deeply concentrated wine. Black cherry, blackberries, hints of spice and coffee, persistent tannins and lingering finish. Can drink now, but buy two, because this can lay down for another 5 years!



Chave Circa Chave Circa $29.00

Prolific winemaker, Jean-Louis Chave, known for his amazing Hermitage, brings us an equally amazing white blend from southern Rhone. A Roussanne, Marsanne blend, its big, fleshy, full of texture. Honeydew, apple peel, hints of tropical fruits, white flowers and baking spices. To grab a bottle by this historic producer is a rare find!

    Sori Gramella refers to the one of the only single vineyard Moscatos, and Marco is the only producer to bottle this striking limestone amphitheater commercially. Once the 30 year old vines give up their bounty, and the grapes are harvested and pressed, they are kept in stainless steel at a low temperature to prevent fermentation until an order is received in order to provide the freshest wine possible.

Structured and executed like a world class ballerina doing flamenco. Sells out every year for good reason. Lighter than Provence, a different planet than White Zin.     This white blend is unlike your usual NZ Sauv Blanc, an organic blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer and Riesling done quite dry. Shows honeysuckle, white peach and clean stone on the nose with flavors of apple peach and rose petals. The acid is softer and rounder than sav blanc but crisper than most any Gewurz or Riesling you may have had. Yes, it really is "hunky dory". (behind by 15 bottles)

    A.D. Laws Four Grain Straight Bourbon

    This four grain whiskey uses a blend of rye, wheat and barley sourced from the Colorado Malting Company, and corn from Briess Malting in Wisconsin - encompassing the "mother grains" of bourbon. The whiskey ages about 3 years, all year round to capture the seasonal nuances from the ever-changing Colorado mountain air, in new, 53 gallon charred oak barrels source from Independent Stave Company.

    The 2014 Amon Ra reflects the tried and true essence of the Glaetzer style - generosity of flavor with finesse of structure. The inky purple color displays the gentle but full extraction. The nose shows an abundance of dark blueberry, vanilla, black cherry and hints of cassis with notes of mixed spice and anise. Although still young and firmly wound, the vibrant blackberry and dried spice flavors integrate well with youthful yet supple tannins with the trademark loooong and sleek finish. Meant to go 10 to 15 years to hit its prime.

    So pretty. Brings a clear nose of Gimblett Gravels terroir beneath lush soft blue and black fruit with lovely violet and lavender notes. Palate is clean, balanced and very approachable. Just a hint of the Northern Rhone's meatiness but mostly bright fruit and enough acidity to hold it in check. Maybe the best NZ Syrah out there??
